Can trucking companies see dismissed tickets?
Did you get to a DMV and get a copy of your driving record, or go online? That's what I'd do. If talking with a recruiter, tell them the facts; don't try hiding anything because it will come out.
I got it online from the .gov page from Texas DPS. I havent been with any recruiter yet. Just noticed in some applications it asks if i ever have been “convicted of moving violations”. But since its dismissed and i didnt pay for the ticket im not sure if that applies anymore.

Can trucking companies see dismissed tickets?
Over a year ago, i got my first (and only) speeding ticket. Was being tailgated and boxed in from my right by two trucks. Decided to floor it to 22mph over and unfortunately a cop with a radar gun got me just as i passed the truck. Got a ticket for 22 over, the officer told me that i could do defensive driving and get it “dismissed” since it was my first moving violation. (Max is 25 over in Texas before you cant do defensive driving) after doing the class i checked the $6-$7 driving record that you can get and it does not show that i ever had a ticket. Never had to pay the ticket fee, just had to pay an administrative fee and the driving school.
Im worried that if i went to a company that they would see the 22 over speeding ticket even if it was dismissed and didnt have to pay it. It tells me that it wont affect my record, but im not sure if that applies to truck companies that you apply to. I dont want to lie to them but i also dont want to tell them about it if its dismissed.
Thanks.

Thanks everyone. I will speak to a recruiter and ask them about it before applying. Hopefully i can still become a driver. That ticket is the only big worry that i have.
