CONSIDERING BECOMING A LADY TRUCKER - A FEW QUESTIONS.....

Hello ladies, I'm new on here and had some questions. I'm seriously considering becoming a truck driver but here's my questions if ya'll don't mind helping me out a bit. I'd sincerely appreciate it.

#1 - I do have some gaps in my employment history. Will that make it impossible for me to find a good trucking job?

((Backstory)) As a matter of fact I'm not working at the moment. I tried to go into a new field (Medical Billing) and the company that hired me said "Oh, we'll teach you everything you need to know. Then fires me after 2 weeks of training; saying "I just wasn't getting it." I'm a very smart person but after being fired, it kind of let's the air out of your tires. So needless to say I was trying to better myself and got slapped in the face by reality; but I'm NOT giving up. I'm over the 9 to 5 jobs. I want to make some real money.

#2 - How far do they go back on the driving record?

((Backstory)) If they only go back 3 years, I'll only have one speeding ticket. If they go back more than that. It will be worse. I'm a target for people to rear end me and then leave. LOL. I've also had several speeding tickets over the years. About the time one ticket falls off (3 years); I'd usually get another one. I'm finally maturing in my older age of 43 and learning to slow down.

Thanks for any advice or guidance ya'll can give me. I think I'd be good at truck driving. It's only me, no kids, spouse or furbabies. Wishing all of you ladies a good evening. Take care and be safe out there.thank-you-2.gif
