For what ever reason I kept thinking the tandems had to be in the 6th hole for California... But now knowing that they are to be slid all the way back makes so much more sense. One less thing to have to worry about at the shipper. The trailer handles way better too! ;)

I agree with Brett. Smart trucking has an issue with every company. Even when asked to name the companies he would suggest, he is hard pressed to come up with any.
I actually blocked this channel from my suggestion stream because it is just so negative.

The Road Less Traveled; Governed Truck Speed
I am enjoying the slower speeds... It keeps me out of the traffic pack. Today I averaged about 55mph... A combination of windy conditions and road construction... But man IL, IN, KY are beautiful in spring.

I’ve heard the dungeon is not fun.

Sitting at a Denny's relaxing... Wow... What an exciting past 2 days. First... First customer drop and it is a blind side back against a wall accesses as a parrallel park... Still can't figure how I got it in there.
Then... After driving a full 11hrs... My reserved spot at a Petro in Sparks was a blind side slant with absolutely no room... but managed to squeeze in.
Rainy is a hoot... The things she says sometimes make me chuckle for hundreds of miles... So far training has been a blast! Fingers crossed it gets even more fun!

Day 2 and still have not been offered any of her infamous elixir...
Best parts of my day: 1. I'm not dead. 2. Did not kill anyone. 3. Got to practice backing at several truck stops... Probably the thing I'm am most nervous about. However no one honked or yelled at me. 4. Took a 5% grade downhill. 5. Saw snow! 6. Saw a lama. 7. And some guy in a pickup was hauling a baby sheep... So cute!
Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Have you ever met one? I did, and I met this individual right here on this forum.
This person has rolled out the red carpet for me and the start of my new career. I have felt like I have been given a comp FastPass at Disney... And this ride has been tremendouse.
Now I am training with this person.... They are thoughtful, paitient, understanding, thorough, funny, and unbelievably kind. A person Mary Poppins would aspire to be, and Mary Poppins claims to be practically perfect.
Maybe my praise is over the top, or just maybe this person likes to make our world a better place one new trucker at a time.
They know who they are... And though I say thank you in person every chance I get, I wanted people to realize that this forum is much more than website, but is filled with people who might possibly be God's gift to trucking.
P.S. This so called dongeon fills like the Ritz! ;)
