How I got my handle? Simple! I drive flatbed, have a big beard, I dip grizzly, and I'm covered in tattoos so a lot of people say I look intimidating but I'm actually a nice guy, I promise. But on top of the beard and my dip of choice and being "intimidating" I'm your typical flatbed driver I guess. 😂 Just a little explanation for the handle.
I started my career in 2012 driving flatbed and I've never looked back!

I saw a few openings for Cypress Truck Lines in the area that I live in that would get me home every night. Mount Holly, NC area. Is anyone on that account and if so how many miles do you average and what's the pay like? I'm extremely happy with the company I'm with now but taking a slight paycut would be worth being home more often in my opinion.
I appreciate it!

Hey y'all!
I'm new to the forum but not new to the trucking world. Been pulling flatbed since the start of my career in 2012 (not a veteran compared to some but I'm definitely not a rookie 😂). But anyways I'll cut to the chase! I love securing loads and flatbed as a whole. But my back just can't handle tarping anymore because of injuries outside of trucking. Are there any good companies that pull predominantly or only curtains? I currently drive for Maverick** and love the company but I just can't handle tarping anymore because of my injuries.
Help is greatly appreciated.
*Also if anyone has any questions about Maverick I would be more than happy to answer.

Loudon County Trucking?
Grizzly here!
I’ve been riding it out but I’ve applied for a few companies that only pull conestoga and or covered wagons. The first company to call me was Loudon County. I’ve read and heard mixed things about this company.
Give me the good, bad, and the ugly.
Some real world, unbiased information would be awesome.
As I discussed before I have some injuries from outside of trucking. I love flatbed, I love securing the loads. I even love tarping but my back just can’t handle dealing with tarps anymore.
Thanks for the insight y’all!
