Big scott is cfi paid weekly or bi weekly now? Couldn’t find any info on the website

Donna, If you're looking to go to CFI, why do you think you wouldn't qualify? Study High Road CDL Training Program to pass your permit test.

Also, look at these.

Best of luck to you.

Thanks Big Scott, i have read a lot of the entries about the process so i kinda know what to expect, im so glad I discovered TT it has helped me tremendously with researching all the different schools. Im super excited!

Best of luck to you. You have a high chance of having some female students starting with you. The Crowder classes all seem to get pretty close to each other. I think because that's the main school CFI uses and everyone there meets in Joplin and stay together until they all go out with their trainers.

Remember CDL school is like boot camp, it goes quickly. This is not to scare you, but encourage you. So many have come before you and are now successful truck drivers.

We are here to help.

CFI's schooling process

Hello I am also new to the group and I have been following a few of the forum entries here and it has been super helpful and motivating . I will be coming to CFI as of the 7/18, leaving out on 7/16 on 2 day bus ride coming out of Williamston NC, (Sheesh) but Im very excited to get started with my new career! Looking for any helpful info!

Welcome Christy. If you are going to TDDA, you should be going to Joplin first. They usually get you there the Thursday before you are to begin training and you will head to TDDA by bus on Friday after signing contracts and drug tests. Yes, Courtney is probably the busiest recruiter we have. Emailing her is best. I would double check with her as to where she wants you to do your drug test. I see you filled out an application on line and spoke with her. If you have the driver pulse app, you will get info quickly. I see you are in Dallas. You will have no problem getting home for home time, as we have a terminal there. I am happy to help you any way I can. Best of luck to you. My current student is from Denton.
