Well I took the plunge and I have been accepted by Davis Express and start orientation next week. Since there is not to much info on them I will try and provide some “Truth” insight on my experiences with them for any other new drivers looking for information. I plan to continue to be active in this forum and thank this site for all the info it does provide.

Yes the Davis Express in Starke is correct. They do hire new graduates but has to be from an approved school which they list all the approved ones on their website. Mine happens to be on the approved list.
Boondock.. I assume you're talking about Davis Express (and not Transfer) out of Starke, FL?
What I know is, they do southeast, reefer, and pay well. My other half has quite a few friends there. My understanding is they only hire experienced drivers. Has that changed?

I’m a new driver looking for a first company. I have my CDL and obtained all the endorsements. I can’t find to much info on this company and was wondering if anyone can provide some info if they are a good company to start with. I have already been in contact with them so I’m aware of all their pay, benefit info.

Davis Express
Thank you. It was hard to choose as I had a flatbed company I was thinking about also, But figured being in Florida reefer would be more consistent freight. Maybe one day I will make the switch to doing flatbed. I will make sure to post my trek in the diary section.
