Current student, just curious about the reality of women being given respect in a male dominated career. Anytime I mentioned to family and friends while considering CDL school, I did not get a lot of support, and was questioned, why? I know all the downsides to driving, especially as a new driver. I have taken everything into consideration. My kids are grown,. I love driving, and love being independent, just to name a few things. And also, how common are female trainers for OTR? (Asking for my husband) that is his main concern, being with a male trainer for weeks on end in such close quarters. I honestly don’t care either way. Thanks for any feedback.
