Thanks. And ya. I have a class of maybe 36 only 4 of us are females. But none of the females are anywhere close to my state. The person who is touching my state seems alright. Shows up early to class and hasn’t taken any days off because he’s tired so that seems promising. Wish me luck y’all. Testing starts Tuesday I feel pretty confident. Fingers arms legs and toes crossed. Hahaha

As a woman, you will constantly have men want to team with you. It is almost a dating tactic out here. Be aware a man may have romantic intentions you do not.

Ask about hygiene... showers... drive time preference. I prefer nights. If u get 2 days people on a truck it can be miserable.

I’ve got two ppl that want to team with me. I don’t know how to choose. Any advice?

I’m starting training with C.R. England in a few weeks. I’m super excited. I was told to obtain my clp before going to Utah for training. As of today I passed my core test and my DOT physical is done. Tonight I’m reading through some articles about the training. I am now curious if anyone has been through the training there. When do they start sending you on runs with a trainer? Is it after I pass the actual CDL? Or do I train and then with the trainer and then come back and take my cdl skills and such?

Howdy y’all. I’m starting truck Driving School in a few weeks. I was told to go ahead and get my cdl permit while I’m waiting and tying up loose ends here. I’m from Oregon and will be going to the salt lake training center. It says on the list of things to bring is birth certificate. My local dmv told me since I have a regular drivers license I don’t need to show my birth certificate to get my permit. I’m confused. Should I bring my birth certificate or will my license do? Also how cold does it get in Utah during mid October? Any tips are welcome!!
