I failed a U.A. :(

I failed a drug test and went to the assessment and was recommended for a SAP. I wasn't reliant on my CDL so I haven't attended the class. Is there a time limit in which that has to be done? And is there an amount of time that can pass where its possible after complete loss of cdl to get it back by re-testing without the recommended classes?
