26k box truck for personal use, what is needed?

I'm looking for some information on what I'm going to need to do to operate this truck I just picked up. It's a 2005 Sterling single cab, 26k, 22' box w/lift gate and cat engine/auto trans (air brakes).

I do not have a CDL and am only going to be using it for personal use. No business, not to make money, only my items in the truck. It is mostly just for moving purposes.

I currently have a NY license, but moving south to North Carolina or South Carolina in the near future and looking to load up the truck and take it with me.

I do have a TWIC card, basic license with motorcycle and tow endorsement.

What do I need to do? Thank you to all in advance!!!
