What were you doing for work in east asia?

Hello.

I might be a unique situation. I have been living and working in East Asia the past fifteen years and want to return back to the USA. I am interested in being a driver. The job I think would suit me fine.

But the issue of the employment background. How do I verify this? I can show that I have been out of the country all of these years through my passport. I can also provide phone numbers of previous employers to state that I have worked there. I even have letters in English.

Been working, but out of the country. Do you have to be employed the past three to five years to break into this industry? Or just show where you have been and what you have been doing?

I think this will be a major stumbling block, but this seems to be the only thing I can do that will provide me with a living wage. I also feel I would be good at it.
