Phentermine for weightloss and DOT physical
I just got prescribed phentermine to help curb my appetite. Im planning on getting my cdl in a few months after I lose some weight because it's trying to cause some health issues. Will this medication disqualify me from getting my cdl. I asked my doctor if this will affect my ability to drive and she said no she has professional driver patients. I drive a box truck for work and so far it doesn't cause any issues. Any who takes this medication or have dealt with this. Once I get down to my desired weight im going to stop taking the meds. Thanks in advance

Failed drug test
I am taking phentermine and asked my doctor will this cause issues for me getting my cdl and she told me it could cause me to get a false positive for amphetamines. But she told them to make them aware of my prescription before I was tested just in case it does. I'm taking 37.5 mg a day for appetite suppression. So your definitely not losing your mind.
