Thanks to all of you for your responses and information. I think I am going to have to wait until the DMV opens to CDL testing. I looked it up and seen where Minnesota has the same thing that Bullit said about lobbying to open DMV for commercial purposes, so hopefully that will come through.

I have been trying to find a school who offers the CDL written testing as all of Minnesotas DMV's are closed. I have called Roehl and they state I need my permit before being accepted. I called many different schools and they all say the same thing. "You need your cdl permit and physical before attending class". Are there any companies offering the whole package? Training, permit and guaranteed employment once the training is passed and completed.

Roehl is also starting new classes weekly. You’re paid from day one and examiners are in house.

With the Minnesota lock down on government due to Covid 19, no DMV's are open to take the written skills test and get my permit, thus cannot go to any school. Does anyone have any idea when they will open the DMV for written tests since trucking is deemed necessary? Thanks in advance.
