Does Backing Scare And Frustrate you? Of course! Here Are Some Stories To Help Calm The Nerves.
Thanks for the tips. I do tell people I’m new but I still get stressed. I need to figure out a way to manage this anxiety because I don’t want to quit.

Thanks for starting this thread. I often worry about going to new customers especially after reading it’s going to be tight. I’m new to trucking. Got my CDL in January and have had my truck for a month. My backing skills need a lot of work.

Oh I will always be careful about not hitting stuff. I’m not shy about getting out to look. I just have a worry habit I need to tame. If I’m not worried about being able to back at a tight customer, I’m worried about finding a place for my 10 hour break or making sure I don’t get lost etc. I realize I’m just a newbie and everything is new to me. By the way, I’m at a customer I was worried about for the last 2 days and I managed to back in to their dock successfully even though it took a few pull ups and get out and looks. Reading the reviews about the customer had me thinking it was going to be a horrible nightmare and it wasn’t that bad.
