Questions about the background checks at Prime inc.
Hi all! First of all a brief thank you to everyone involved with this website, been using for the last year to find out more about trucking before I get started (even though I just finally decided to make my own profile), and it has been nothing but full of helpful information and people. My questions are mostly about Prime inc. because I'm fairly sure that's where I'm going to be attending CDL training at, probably (hopefully) starting around August of 2020. I have filled out an application and was in contact briefly with my recruiter, but I asked her some other unrelated questions and she seemed just as confused as me so I thought I'd bring to you nice folks instead. This question requires a bit of brief background on me. I attended multiple high schools and ended up dropping out my senior year (no degree) to work full time. I later changed my mind, got my MO GED in order to attend college. Went to the University of MO for a year and ended up dropping out due to a combination of very expensive tuition (was attempting to pay out of pocket to avoid student loan problems) and not great grades. This was all a number of years ago now and I have been working full time ever since (past 3/4 years at least). Been looking into some posts about how extensive the background checks can be, and am now concerned because on my application (and any other application I've filled out for any other job I've held) I always just put my highschool down and no ones ever looked into (if they did I do have the GED just no one ever has asked). Starting to worry this was a mistake and wondering if I should get in touch with recruiter to change. Don't want to get there only for them to look into and label me a liar and tell me I need to go home (I'm not just don't like spending the extra time it takes with filling out applications). Was wondering if anyone who has been through recruitment process, especially at Prime, could give me any insight and if they think this is a problem worth getting in touch with my recruiter for to change application. In all other aspects I should be good, had a ticket or two a number of years ago and had to take a roadside sobriety test but passed (I was honestly just really tired and cursed with always looking high-damn insomnia and genetics) but nothing that would prevent me from passing otherwise. Wondering how far back they're going to look and if they are even concerned with high school or only my work and roadside history (which should be all good and up to snuff). Thanks all for your time and i appreciate any feedback!

Questions about the background checks at Prime inc.
Thank you so much! I’m glad to here it won’t keep me attending, I called recruiter and she may be off because they asked to call back on Monday so on Monday I will call and explain situation. I’m usually pretty good in interviews and stuff like that, so as long as I get a chance to explain then I should be fine and is a relief to hear. Thanks for the feedback and good luck with that boat of yours “Andy”.
