Have CDL-A ,End: T,X TWIC No recent (5 yrs) exp. Current Storage Manager/Maintenance Mgr. Ex-felon. over 30 years ago. Seems to be a barrier for a lot of companies. Most denials have been for that or lack of experience. USMC Vet 1980-86. Locked in to current position until Mid-November 2020 at earliest. Both Parents were drivers and my son is also. I'm looking to make a career change. I am ready to go OTR. Home time is not an issue. I live alone. Also work alone 99% of the time. Only time I don't is when a maintenance project or repair requires more hands. I am ready, willing and able to run, run, run. I just ask for the chance. I know I need re-training. And that I will have to prove myself.

Papa Pigs Zainy Rookie Solo Adventures

Just finished reading your thread. Woof! I work outside a lot but can't imagine being in that van in this heat. Locked into my current job til Nov-Dec but planning to make the change to OTR. Already have my CDL-A T,X and TWIC. You get to Milledgeville GA give a yell. There's a DG right across the road from the Storage Facility I manage and a pretty good mexican restaurant near Lake Sinclair, Los Magueyes. There was a blue Werner sleeper pulling a reefer there today, or was it yesterday? Thanks for your loyalty and dedication to our Country. (USMC 1980-86)
