I was also in the same boat. I found this website in 12/13 and read my butt off. I applied to Central, Swift, Prime Inc, and Knight Transportation. I got my CDL PERMIT in my state of Louisiana talked about all the companies with my wife and children and we choose Knight Transportation. My advice is just read as much as you can and stay away from the other website. This is my first week at Knight Transportation got my driver code yesterday and I'm still excited! Good luck to you.

Congratulations Eddie. You will be glad you went through the TT information. If you are in the Olive Branch school, they don't really teach you about the HOS/logs and weight and balance. Most of that is left up to the driving trainers. I found TT's information very helpful with that when I went solo.

Are you going through the CDL class, Squire program? Which terminal will you work out of when you are done? I live in Ville Platte, LA and had been working out of the Gulfport MS terminal until today, I am transferring to the Delhi, LA terminal.

My first day at Knight Transportation was just what I expected. I was amazed at how many people in my orientation class didn't know about this site. Well I told them to go to truckingtruth.com.
