As far as 7 on and 2 off I'm not sure if that's a common scenario or not. I know a lot of companies will get you home on weekends which usually works out to 5 on 2 off or 5 1/2 on and 1 1/2 off. That's actually better than 7 on 2 off as far as home time is concerned. And most OTR companies that keep you out for several weeks at a time offer one day off for every seven days on.
But browse our jobs and see what you come up with. What type of freight are you looking to haul? Some of the drivers here might be able to give you some company suggestions based on their findings.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Suppose to leave for Osborne orientation in a week in Gadsden al which I guess has been bought out by celadon . I've had cdls for 12 yrs but only 8 months of verifiable exp.. Any negative or positive response will help.. Or any info of a better company I can apply for .. Looking to be home at least 7 on 2 off I don't care what days home just 7 on 2 off .. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
