i wanted my first post to be a thanks to the site creator and all that's ever posted info on here. You all have helped me make the best informed choice I could for new career change to trucking. the insane amount of knowledge gained from here has been amazing.
I leave for Springfield Mo on the 12th to begin orientation then psd with prime!
Yall be safe out there!
Sclose, Thank you! You took it upon yourself to look through the resources here (I hope including at least the High Road Training Program!) and came to a decision. There are so many people on their first post ask "What's the best company for a new guy living in Houston, Texas?" We do answer these questions, but to me, it's even better if someone looks for things themselves, then asks questions to get the details they need.
Be sure to keep us posted on your Prime training in the CDL Training Diaries Forum!
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Prime Inc has a CDL training program and the first phase is referred to as PSD. You'll get your permit and then 10,000 miles of on the road instruction.
Prime’s PSD begins with you obtaining your CDL permit. Then you’ll go on the road with a certified CDL instructor for no less than 75 hours of one-on-one behind the wheel training. After training, you’ll return to Prime’s corporate headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, for final CDL state testing and your CDL license.
Sclose757 I just sent you a PM.
