Hey guys, first time poster here. Anyway, I am supposed to be starting training Monday at Lake Cumberland School in Mt. Sterling. I passed my physical today, but all the offices are closed and I have no idea what time I should be there. Also, does anyone know how they want payment? Personal check, cashiers check, cash? Any assistance on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Perk

Hey there Perk,

I too am scheduled to go the Mt. Sterling location for school but not until Oct. 19. When I talked with them yesterday I stated I was going to pay by check. There offices should be open tomorrow. I believe school starts at 7 a.m. till 5 p.m. Good luck! Post back up here on how you liked the school.

Hey Moving Forward, thanks for the info. In all my excitement, and worrying about passing the physical, I forgot to ask those simple questions. And i will definitely let you know how it goes. :)

I'm going through Lake Cumberland also, but not at Mt. Sterling. We're doing a part time class on Fridays and Saturdays. Their doing the in classroom part at my work place in Shepherdsville and the driving, we'll do in Etown since they already have trucks there for the ETCT Mon - Thurs. Program.

I've been doing research on everything from schools to companies for over a year and from what I've found out its that The school in Mt. Sterling only has 1 truck. To me that seems insufficient for a school but then again I don't know how many students they have at 1 time or how many instructors they have either. All of my research has been done on the internet.

Lake Cumberland has 17 trucks, which they shuffle around based on how many students are enrolled at a particular location. When I was at the Etown location, we had 4 trucks there at one time, due to class size, but often they only keep 1 there.
