I didn't even know what a driveaway company was. I had to Google it. I don't know if anyone here in our forum will have any experience with that kind of thing or not but it's worth a try to ask. Sorry I can't help you with it myself. I have no knowledge or experience with that kind of hauling.
I was an owner operator for 28 years , flatbed. Sold that and drove a co truck for 3 years and I've done it all except what you're doing. Is that pulling mobile homes?
An owner-operator is a driver who either owns or leases the truck they are driving. A self-employed driver.

Im looking for any first hand info. on Single Driveaway companies. How the process actually works with regard to fuel and tow equipment and load boards and forced dispatch and so on. Ive spoken to and been offered jobs by a couple of these companies but there isnt much hands on information on the websites and i dont want to go in blind or sign up before I get the real scoop if I can help it. Any information , especially first hand from a driver out there thats actually doing the job would really be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time for your help. Jessicashannen@aim.com
