So I've been at a hotel for two days now. Very nice hotel, shower, microwave, stove, frig, ac, and large bed. Price of the room is 99$ plus tax.

I called the Freightliner dealership and apparently my truck will be fixed in a week. Which means it will be out of service for repairs for a total of 1 1/2 weeks. They finally found a truck for me to recover. I'm waiting for the driver to bring it to our cleveland drop yard and then I am to take it to a terminal and they will fly me back to Cleveland to pick up my repaired truck.

Though honestly if this one is better than mine I will ask to keep it. I don't want to deal with the hassle of flying and dealing with a bunch of taxis like I have been having to do for the past few days. However I won't downgrade if my broken one is better I will fly back to get it. Got to think about the future.

I also missed my wife's 21st birthday yesterday, there was a chance I could have been home if my truck didnt break down. I'm currently waiting for the guy to drop it off. I have no information on this new truck.

I'm praying for a red 2013 Freightliner cascadia :D

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Wow so just a normal day in the truck huh? Sorry to hear things worked out the way they did, and that you missed you're wifes birthday. That definitely sucks. I definitely feel your pain on the breakdowns, my Internationals broke down so many times I couldn't even get mad anymore, it was comical. I was the king of breakdowns. The trucking Gods are cruel people sometimes...

And I bet this load you gave up was a really good load too, probably loads of miles, driving through states you liked, all that jazz. Here's hoping you get home soon and either get you're truck fixed or the new one you recovered works like a charm! Stay positive!
