Also I use a CPAP machine and I do use it every night. Is this something that will stop me from becoming a driver?

Lisinopril, no, but will limit you to a one year med card. CPAP machine, no, but you'll need to have one that gives you the ability to transmit your results/usage to the company you're working for. The others, not too sure. There is a web site that will let you know what a CDL driver cannot take, unfortunately I do not know that off the top of my head. However, the powers that be here on the site will be able to direct you to the right spot. Good luck!
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

You say the Lisinopril will only allow me to get a one year card. Is that a bad thing or just more of a hassle for me to get it renewed each year.
The CPAP machine is only about a year old and does have the sd card that tracks the use of it.

Bananas man. Before your test eat lots of bannanas and garlic. It worked for my friend.
Prime installed modems on ppl cpaps. Be sure to take it with you to whatever school u go to. They want the SD cards to see ur history and can install a modem for the road to monitor u. The depression might hurt depending on how long ago. If it was 3 yrs ago u probably won't have a problem..if more recent they might want u monitoterd first. If u were suicidal the handbooks say a year of monitoring.....we had a guy in class who brought his records and all was fine. ..he was episode free for over a yr At prime they gave UNTREATED apnea patients a test and cpap....and issued either 2 months or one yr of medical certification. it doesn't appear to be a hassle there....the doctors come to the main terminal and exam u. Then u receive the new card. If u don't have ur apnea machine or records Then they want you to pay for the test and machine. ...which they take out of future pay in installments
I suggest u bring ALL of your med records. ..a bunch of people were hanging for days to get drs to fax stuff. By that time I was already on the road
Good luck
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Rainy, I just found the post where you are giving updates on your schooling with Prime... I enjoy reading about how its going in school for others and feel like I can get educated on different school's here and what the all have to offer.

You will only be able to get a one year card due to taking medication for your HBP. If you have HBP one year is it.

And no it is not a hassle. Just means you need to get a physical every year instead of every two.

Well now I believe i'm ready to head out on the road. But first I have some questions.
My blood pressure is controlled by Lisinopril 10mg, one per day. Keeps it in the 135/76 range every time I get it checked.
Cholesterol is maintained with Pravastatin 40 mg, one per day. When tested it show ok.
Thats all the prescribed medications I take on a REGULAR basis. I have a prescription for Fluoxetine that I was prescribed for depression, I don't take them but I have in the past. I do have Hydrocodone I use for kidney stones that come periodically, not taken in almost a year. I have Prednisone that I have taken in the past for Gout, not taken in over a year.
Will any of these things stop me from becoming a truck driver?
After I get answers for this I will follow up with more less concerning questions.
Thanks to all who answer with informative responses...
