Decide whats most important to you. Is it cents per mile? Quality equipment? Hometime? ETC. Then decide. Cents per mile is only good if you get the miles. So think about making money. less cents per mile but more miles equals more money (maybe). But its really just up to you to decide what looks best and go for it. Congrats!

I haven't been on here in a few months but I just got my CDL last Thursday and I graduate my school on Friday. I've applied to several dozen companies and have had 4 call me back and are trying to move me forward with orientation. USXpress, May Trucking, Super Service, Wil-Trans are the 4. I'm a little overwhelmed on which one to move forward with. I'm leaning more towards May or Wil-Trans. Should I go with the one that pays the most after I go solo? which would be Wil-Trans (.40/cpm)
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
CPM:
Cents Per Mile
Drivers are often paid by the mile and it's given in cents per mile, or cpm.
Wil-Trans:
Darrel Wilson bought his first tractor in 1980 at age 20, but, being too young to meet OTR age requirements, he leased the truck out and hired a driver.
Through growth and acquisition, Wil-Trans now employs over 200 drivers, and has a long-standing partnership with Prime, Inc. to haul their refrigerated freight. The family of businesses also includes Jim Palmer Trucking and O & S Trucking.
