thank you all for your feedback. I am going to look into with the motor vehicle department and as well with a few carriers. Wish me an outside shot of luck on this

I can tell you that at. Prime a man in my class claimed to have ONE dui that was supposedly expunged....prime found it and sent him home. He could have lied to me....but I saw quite a few sent home for one dui.

I've been on the road for a little over a week and can see that swift will hire some really questionable drivers So who knows.

I do want to point put to you that saying it is spaced out so isn't so bad might come across the wrong way. It may appear to be an elongated period of lack of judgement. 2 dui in common vehicle is life time suspension of cdl...so it is much more serious than you think.

Good luck And be honest cause if they catch you lying forget it.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
