Check it out and let us know your experience with it.

I started a post about the program a while back if any one is interested in the details...

If you have 10 credits, I think that means you can get your tractor and trailer (BOTH) checked 5 times for free, or one or the other (but not both) checked 10 times.

Basically, inspecting both the tractor and trailer is either $10 or two credits.

It seems to me that it might be helpful to keep tabs on a large fleet. But if you're a solo owner operator or company driver it's going to take you five minutes to do it yourself and then you know it's done right. I don't let anyone do anything important for me without double checking it. Well in this case I can check my tires as fast as I can double check someone else's work so the heck with it, ya know? I'll do it myself.

You have to look at everything several times a day during your pre-trip inspection and all the other quick inspections you'll do anyhow. It doesn't seem like a bad idea but it really doesn't seem like a service that would do ya much good.

"Hey, ya know that super critical but super easy job you've already been doing for yourself, for free, in five minutes? Well we can do it for ya."

Well, ok I guess. I'll be right behind you double checking it all anyhow.

I'd rather they go get me a sandwich from Subway while I'm fueling. And my fuel receipt. I'll give em my Subway card and they can run in there quick.

Maybe wash the windows? That would be cool too now that I think about it. That's always a pain.

Pre-trip Inspection:

A pre-trip inspection is a thorough inspection of the truck completed before driving for the first time each day.

Federal and state laws require that drivers inspect their vehicles. Federal and state inspectors also may inspect your vehicles. If they judge a vehicle to be unsafe, they will put it “out of service” until it is repaired.

Owner Operator:

An owner-operator is a driver who either owns or leases the truck they are driving. A self-employed driver.

Actually, now that I think about it......they should do a NASCAR-style pit stop where they totally detail the truck inside and out while you're fueling. With a small crew of people they could blast out some serious cleaning in like 7 minutes while you're fueling up. If they had power tools and a plan they could detail the heck out of a rig. It would be like brand new, inside and out. I would love that. In fact, I would pay for that for sure.

Why the heck don't any truck stops offer that, anyhow? I mean, they talk about "Driver Appreciation Week". Well ok, I'd really appreciate you detailing the heck out of my truck and getting me a sandwich from Subway.

Maybe there's an app for that?

My co driver did it once and its pretty good... It points out stuff like alignment issues and uneven wear to the tires caused by the alignment being off... You really do get a detailed report from them but its just making truckers more lazy lol... If that's possible...

Yup, I used it a couple of times, first time on the whole rig and the more recent time on just the tractor. I don't know where the free credits come from but I've used 3 free so far and have 1 free left.

I think it must be something they gave every Love's card holder.

You get one credit for every time you put 50+ gallons in just like you get a drink refill and a shower.

I didn't have any credits when I asked about it and the girl at the desk put 2 credits on my card for me. Took about a half hour. Mostly due to the rim covers I have. They had to be removed and replaced. Id say good deal even for $5

Are you sure about that? I fueled over 1500 gallons at Love's last month and did not see any increase in my TirePass credits.
