Depends on the test. May also depend on the state. I think you need at least 80% or something like that. In Missouri the general knowledge was like 50 questions while air break was 20 or so. It will vary on each test. Here it was on a touchscreen. At the start of each test it said how many you could miss. Once you answered enough right it would end the test and go to the next. I think if you failed you could come back and try again later in the day or something like that.

Passing is 80%. The amount of questions depends on the states you are taking the test in. The test that are given on the computer suddenly stop once you have enough questions to pass that part of the test.
