Make an appointment with your doctor that prescribed the Adderall, tell them of the situation and ask for a list of potential alternatives. Take that list to the company and see if any of them fit their criteria. If you find one that will be accepted you would have to find out if the drug would be a good fit for you. You would have to wean off the Adderall and start on the new meds and give them time to determine any side effects if any that could also pose a problem with driving a truck (causing drowsiness, etc.) Would definitely take some time for the trial and error period to see if the change in meds would work if there is a substitute that would be acceptable.
I totally agree with Charles. There will be plenty of alternatives that will be acceptable for commercial driving. It's just a matter of finding one that works for both you and the company you'll be working for.

Ok so everything is going good so far it looks like we will be attending school in Salt lake city, Utah starting first of Sept. But the company just called today and said one of my meds is on their band list. Adderall for my ADD so does anybody have any suggestions, because there is no way i will even be able to past any of my test unless I have something to keep my mind focused instead of having random brain fireings all over the place or being destracted by shiny obeject.... as my husbands tells me all the time when I dont take my meds.
PLEASE HELP!!!
