I always say ready... Your FM/dm can see your hours and will make the call..
I would talk to your DM about this over the phone or in person. Make sure you two are on the same page. See what he wants you to do in that situation.
Ok. I wasn't sure if they saw my hours. Seems like they don't sometimes. I will always say yes now on. Thanks.

They see everything lol... But just send in a free form to your dm asking what they want you to do to make sure... My dm trys to get us a rolling 34 when we get close to the end of our 70 so just make sure its OK by them first...
Say yes then freeform a message to your DM that says when your 10hr break will be up.

Hi, all. Hope you can help since I don't know who else to ask. I've been solo for 13 days now. My training consisted of 4week class and the 5 wks with trainer. We ran a dedicated run back & forth from Sacramento, CA to St. Louis, MO. That was very different from solo runs. One issue I've just had is with getting set up for a new load when I only have 1-2hrs left on my clock. We use Quallcoms. When done with a load, you send a message that also asks if you are ready for load immediately. Should I say yes even though I have to rest 10hrs? Or say no with explanation? I don't want to annoy my FM , but I also don't want to sit for 15hrs because I didn't become ready for load until my 10hrs were up. In this situation, my hrs were up & load done at 8pm.
Thanks
Dedicated Run:
A driver or carrier who transports cargo between regular, prescribed routes. Normally it means a driver will be dedicated to working for one particular customer like Walmart or Home Depot and they will only haul freight for that customer. You'll often hear drivers say something like, "I'm on the Walmart dedicated account."
Fm:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
