Well Truckers, I'm proud to say I've earned my CDL class A. Some said I couldn't do it, it would take years etc etc. My status as of now is training on the 90' backing. When I pass this company test, I'll be heading to Celadons Orientation. Thanks to all who gave me a kind word along my up and down journey. I know it's just beginning but I also know the best is yet to come... hope to see you out there

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

The beginning of my journey starts monday first day of cdl class im ready but nervous and anxious
