So things are smoothing out. I did accidentally bent the deer guard in the truck how ever nothing to major. Things are going allot smoother, there are still situations I have trouble with as far as backing goes. Major issue is I always stop befor making a correction. And mountain drive makes my right arm sore lol. The highway coming into salt lake is the scary one
In my mentor phase, on local roads I would always STOP before turning. Drove my mentor nuts. I had to work on breaking that habit. Glad I did.

Trip plan! You are relying entirely on the QC.

Well I'm almost finished tnt phase at this time just waiting to get to pitttston pa
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.

I hope that's great news for you, Kyle. Will you be upgrading at the Pittston Terminal?
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Ok so apparently upgrade isn't happening yet for some reason I'm still on this truck, to make things worse I've been fumbling big tile from forgetting things (paper work to simple doing thing in the right order and cleaning) to breaking things that where just fixed. (Sliped on tire while window cleaning Messed up the cap and the stem) I want to be back to doing good how ever this isn't why I've haven't been upgraded yet unsure what's going on with that. I at a loss as of the moment
As a new employee trainer with my former employer, I realized that sometimes learning new things takes longer for some people to click than it does others. But you know, often, those that struggled but didn't give up were often much better at doing something in the longer run thsn an employee who caught on quickly.
I'm betting this can and does happen in learning to become a trucker too.
Don't sweat it, but relax, pay closer attention and it will happen in due time. You got your CDL-A already. You can do this too.
Best of luck!

My trainer talked to his fm and at the time we are doing what is called a super solo. We are taking the time to work on the thing that not even the pad trainers would've prepared you for. So we are working things out.
Fm:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
