That's rotten luck, keep your head high! Ambition is half the battle.
On another note...according to Primes website your supposedly in class for a week then with a trainer for 3-4 weeks (10k miles) before testing out for CDL. Then complete another 30k miles (presumably another 3 months according to the timeline of 10k miles in 3-4 weeks above) paid. That's slightly over 4 months...you havn't been there that long have you?
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
I'm sadly going home and it isn't in a tuck or my own truck it's back on Greydog due to my stupinidy I'm being let go. I'm at a loss on what to do aside from applying local or regional
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.

Kyle...not sure what happened, but hopefully you learned from it and can avoid the issue in the future. My suggestion is to immediately start applying to other companies found on this website, all of them. It's likely you may need to repeat an abbreviated road training stint, but regardless if that's part of the job, so be it.

So despite the toruble that happened at prime I havent given up on being a truck driver soon, Ill be going to schnider, which will give me less time on the road, and a bit more time home then being OTR. Hope for the best of luck!
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
Kyle, what happened at Prime that they let you go?

While officaly they said or will explain to any one who would be willing to hire me that I volentary quit, The real reason was because I wasnt up to there standards. Like I said Im aiming for schnieder and a position that gets me home every week, as I knew deep down that was the issue I was away form home for to long and was stressed about getting home weather I realised it or not.

Kyle, In one or two of your previous posts about this you mentioned (I think) a fender bender accident, and an equipment failure resulting from a U-Turn/tight turn. Prime might have reported these to your DAC. You might want to check this and not assume there is nothing officially documented.
A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).
It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.
Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.
