So how's it going, Stormie?
Hey Sue D. .... Not so great. I have to give it more time. Its been just under 1 year since I was charges with a misdemeanor..... I have to wait on average.... 3 years. So in the mean time I plan to finish my degree and go on atleast 2 OTR trips with a good friend of mine who drives so I can get a good feel for road life atleast! Thanks for checking in on me. One day I will be out there!
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
You might try applying to a different company after your misdemeanor is a year old. Make sure you tell any recruiter about it. Not all companies have the same requirements.
Good luck!!!

I have read what seems likes a zillion posts regarding the program I have chosen and general information as well. Im excited and nervous as well! I have no idea about the 1st thing to do! But I have a fighting spirit and cannot wait to take on another exciting journey! I should be talking to a recruiter on Monday aand hopefully after that.... On a bus to my old hometown and in training! :) Thanks for reading and be blessed in all that you do!/i>
