Ok you're right - I have no idea how that got there. It now says:
Special purpose equipment. If your vehicle has any of the following equipment, make sure it works:
- Vapor recovery kits.
- Grounding and bonding cables.
- Emergency shut-off systems.
- Built-in fire extinguisher.

I and restarting the tanker section. And I think I have noticed a mistake.
On page 60, Section 8.1 we read the following:
I am not sure, but I think the last three lines belong somewhere else and something is missing that should be there.

Doubles:
Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.
HOS:
Hours Of Service
HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.OWI:
