My trainer went #2 in a bucket in the sleeper area when I was in training. He couldn't hold it anymore. He told me to stay outside in the 10 degree cold on a mountain summit in WA while he did the deed. I can't tell you how awkward it was to go back inside the truck to the smell, and on top of that sleep on the bed just a foot away. A feeling of disgust I will never forget.

I know you guys are just being silly, but I'm serious - true story.

I say this as best as I can, and with no bad intentions in mind against any people. But he was a big Mexican guy who just ate authentic Mexican food earlier in the day. Febreze isn't gonna do squat.

Take portable chemical toilet bags for your bucket just in case, the kind with the bio-gel inside and the extra outer bag to seal the inner bag in when you're done, that way you won't have to smell it any more than right after the deed is done. I recommend either the Cleanwaste "Go Anywhere" wag bags, or the Reliance "Double Doodie" bags. Reliance even sells a toilet seat designed to go on a standard 5-gallon bucket. Just don't forget to dispose of your used bag at the first available opportunity. The kinds with the bio-gel in the bag are designed to be safe to throw away in normal garbage.

You can't make your trainer do anything. I was the student, it was his truck. I have no power in that situation. And he sure as heck wouldn't have listened if I did speak up. Usually it's better to be silent.

Me personally, I would never ever consider sleeping in a top bunk when a truck is moving. What would happen to you in a roll over or topping out on a low overpass? Umm no thank you. Ill just bring a sleeping bag and my own pillow for company training in case we run as a team.

I was thinking that too! Make him get the heck out and crap in the snow. He can make a cat hole and use the snow to wipe himself.

The moral of the story is do not eat spicy food on the road.
