I have a 12" window squeegee laying on the dashboard. A swipe sideways and it's clear again. (I have long arms.)
My arms are NOT stupid!! :)
I also squeegee the left side mirror when I'm backing and its covered in fog/dew/rain drops.
I've heard that scuba divers will spit on the inside of their face mask and rub that around, but a side mirror would need a lot of saliva!
it's true... something in your saliva prevents the lens from fogging up... it has to be a goopey bit of spit, the more watery kind isn't as effective... it sounds gross but you just hawk in the lens, spread it around then you can rinse it off in the water to get the nasty loogey'ness out and it's good as new... besides it was already in your body why are you worried if it's on your face? now if you have someone else spit on them... that's gross.
Been diving and I used regular plain *white* toothpaste on the inside of the mask. No fog. However....good luck rubbing it in all over side windows....lol
