Not in forehand but for head lol! The needles are small and do no go deep. My wife says it feels like bee stings. But then goes away rather quickly. Did you have a chance to look it up? If not I can send you some links.

I had a sister-in-law who lived in constant varied pain. Botox is a pain management technique I learned of through her as well as T.E.N.S. units. Google provided this, which I haven't vetted, but might help to explain how it helps.

Stay healthy & safe out there.

I started with migraines at 12. I suffered decades The Imitrex. Stopped working. I switched to Topomax as a preventative I took everyday. After a year they went away and I stopped is th the meds. I've been off them for 8 years and no problems. The DOT doctor said it would have been a problem if I had them in the last 3 years. Did u bring this up in your physical? If not that could be a problem.

I suggest you talk to your doctor about Topomax or other antI convulsive that help.prevent migraines.rather than the pills you take to take away the migraine. I went from pills to imitrex. Shots.. then they stopped working and it was worse pain

As far as other sickness... I drank pepto bismal or non drowsy cold meds. Driving and taking things is not good. :(

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

Safety is paramount (the cost of crashes and/or losing loads is enormous) so companies don't want you driving if you aren't up to it. Dispatchers want to move loads, so it's tempting for them to push, but the big bosses and safety departments want you to park it (and get a repower if necessary for on-time delivery). But if it happens too often then that's bad for business.

But dealing with health problems is a problem with OTR trucking. Can't hop in a car and drive to the doc at the first sign of trouble. Can try to get routed back home (which might take weeks to do) or take a taxi or call an ambulance to take you to a local physician (which is even more of a problem if you need to return to that physician for follow-up appointments, as I had to for a root canal).

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Dispatcher:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
