They're a good investment. They don't work well with the Jost 5th wheels that you have to lift and slide over into the lock though.
Werner gives you one with your tool kit, it stays with you from truck to truck, when you quit, you turn it back in with the tool kit
What else is included in the tool kit?

This is of interest to me as well, as I am strongly considering driving for Werner soon.
The tool kit Werner gives is very basic. In addition to the 5th wheel puller, it has a hammer, adjustable wrench, screwdriver with interchangeable bits, pliers and needle nose pliers. There might be a few other items in not remembering of the top of my head.
I forgot the tire pressure guage and the tread depth tool
Hey Miracle, we are looking seriously at Werner and their team training program. How do you like Werner? Do you know anything first-hand about that program? Do you know anything second-hand about that program? Thanks in advance.
Scott and Maggie
I am currently in Werner training as solo. Only real issue I see is the lack of experienced trainers. Many trainers have less than 6 months experience. I was lucky to get one with 10 years exp . How can someone teach you about winter driving who has never driven Wyoming in bad weather ?
Thanks for the response Raz. The low experience time for a trainer sounds a little disconcerting.
