Pretty cool man! I don't know if our time will match up, but I'm on Greyhound next weekend, to be in Springfield the 7th of December. Super excited! Finaaaally!!
I'm going to be at Prime for my first day on Monday November 30. I'm too early....what a shame.

It's alright you'll find an instructor. Prime isn't abundant in instuctors but I'm sure you'll be fine.
No TNT? Thought there was more $$ for the trainer in TNT (even if it lasts longer)?
Rick
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.

I've done TNT with all my students this year, almost 9 months of team driving now. I'm exhausted of team driving and want to take a small break from it. Of course, if the student is super good I might just do it with them.

I should be done with CDL school middle of April, then calling Prime. Hopefully you'll be available then. Have fun on solo!

Just a heads up, I'll be graduating my student in December and will be taking a new PSD student in the end of December or beginning of January. After I graduate my current knucklehead student I'll go solo for a few weeks to take a small break. After that I'm game.
If anyone is interested in an experienced Instructor reply to the thread. I make no promises of taking anyone from TT, I must meet and interview you in person multiple times before making my decision.

Prime Inc has a CDL training program and the first phase is referred to as PSD. You'll get your permit and then 10,000 miles of on the road instruction.
The following is from Prime's website:
Prime’s PSD begins with you obtaining your CDL permit. Then you’ll go on the road with a certified CDL instructor for no less than 75 hours of one-on-one behind the wheel training. After training, you’ll return to Prime’s corporate headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, for final CDL state testing and your CDL license.
