New CDL School / Since The One In Tulsa Isn't Working Out

I was enrolled in a CDL school and was not informed I needed a co signer, which I do not have ..so . I would like to ask ; who do you think is better , Prime, Pam or CRST . They have said I can come there and finish my training, though I now have my permit and medical card.

Would appreciate any information.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

It really depends on which of those companies you'd like to drive for after school is complete.

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
