My boyfriend drives and has for almost a year on his last home time he brought home a lady claiming to be giving her a ride. I didnt take it well because he hid her and catered to her needs at a local truck stop during nearly his entire hometime. Is this a normal habit of a driver? I would like to understand.

Jenny, that is certainly not normal, and if you need us to tell you that then I absolutely dont know what to make of your superficial relationship with that creep.

Yeah, big red flag, Jenny! Might be time to rethink the entire thing instead of wasting more time on him.

Agree with everyone, and I would only add that this kind of sounds like a human trafficking situation. You may want to consider investigating and/or alerting someone...

Human trafficking doesn't sound like what I saw she wasnt literally hiding he just hid the fact she was with him waiting on him to take her to the truck stop. And he catered to that stranger reguardless if he didn't cheat. Would any trucker do that on their home time to their family? .... It kind of felt like the joke was on me .... Is there an explanation for why he came home with her in his truck freely able to come and go...

It sounds like you are searching for a reason to justify his actions, for him. Regardless of his motives, which i sincerely doubt are honorable, there are red flags everywhere in this situation. Pack your bags and leave the idiot.

I would really like to understand his point although every angle I look at it from makes me even more confused... So to all the truckers out there would you feel sorry for someone enough to give them a ride when you know your on your way home for your home time and expect your spouse to see it your way and ask you to have patience and understanding?

No. No. No. I would not give a stranger a ride even in a truck I owned. And would certainly never give the future Mrs any reason to doubt my fidelity. This all sounds "messed up" to put it politely.
