I have read the threads I could on here with anything pertaining to Maverick, there is few. Any drivers out there lurking or experienced drivers have any dealings with them or insight on them.

I never stop asking or researching 😉

Hey Tyler, I am not sure if there are Maverick drivers here or not as I am new to the site also. But there is a driver, Dale Clay, on youtube who has documented his Maverick journey the past year or so starting with orientation. There is also a facebook page titled Maverick Drivers Q & A. You can post questions on both sites, and like this site, feel you are getting straightforward answers. Good luck with your research.

Every Maverick driver I have run into seems pretty content and never had anything bad to say. One driver told me if they can't get you home for the weekend they give you extra mileage pay which if true I thought was pretty cool.

I agree with that!

I drove for Maverick for a bit several years ago before they started specialized. The only reason I left was they stated they would not get into specialized hauling so I went to ATS Specialized. My time with Maverick was good with no real complaints. They were dedicated to getting us home on the weekends and very safety conscious. When I went to work for Jordan Carriers I would load/unload with a lot of Maverick drivers and they all seemed content.

Yes, that is true about the weekend pay. If for some reason you are to get home for the weekend or if you run dedicated and are home every weekend, if they can't get you home due to needing you to run, they will pay you a guaranteed 800 miles. So say they can't get you home and give you a load that is 200 miles. They will pay you for 800 miles instead of 200.

Also on dedicated glass they have what's called guarantee pay. Basically they guarantee you to make at least a certain amount each week. I have seen hem range from 700-850 a week minimum. So if they don't have a run for you, you still get paid a minimum per week.

Thank you. It's good to know and confirms what some other drivers have told me. Have yet to talk to one current or former driver that has anything bad to say.

I have spent a lot of time researching and am very impressed so far with everything
