I made an stupid mistake in my younger days of being irresponsible and got a dwi. It's been 4 1/2 years are there companies who will hire me through company sponsored programs my driving record has been clean since that incident. And how old does a dwi needs to be before i can apply for school

It depends on company policies. I had 2 in my past but the most recent was 11 years ago. I think it varies from 5-10 years but others may not "look back" as far.
