When it comes to "split sleeper" some companies take a dim view of it. So, if your DM says for you to do it, and you know your company has a policy against it, or are on sure. Have your DM send it to you on the QC.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

When I said "on sure," I meant unsure.

I wouldn't be surprised if Phox learned that in driving school. I found I was much more knowledgeable on HOS rules than the staff at the school I went through.

Split sleeper is legal. I use it almost every week.

I once met a trainer that thought split logs added up your spare sb time like 30 breaks and **** breaks from the previous day and gave it back to you. Funny thing is he was a top 5 percentile driver.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Does if matter how many times per week the 34 hour reset is used.

For example: I am off for 34 hours then drive for 3 days... then off again for 34 hours because I need to drive my full 7 days now. Hope this makes sense. I tried finding this specific question as to not repeat what has already been answered.

Thanks

It doesn't matter Jason, as it stands right now you can reset as often as you like.
