The over the head type has a larger battery and thus longer time between the need to recharge. Besides, it give you practice in using a headset in case you need revert back to working a drive thru.
Let's hope it never comes to that. Although I love my son I don't want to work the drive thru at McDonald's with him.
Make sure whatever option you go with, it doesn't cover or go in both ears... that's not ok and you're gonna have a bad day if dps see it while you're driving :)
Thanks all for the input. Thinking I may be going with the blue parrot 250xt +.
I really think you'll like that headset, I have the B250 xt and love it. Sound quality is awesome, battery life is great and to me it's very comfortable. I'm getting ready to upgrade to the B350 since I have 2 phones and it will pair to both of them at the same time plus you can listen to your music as well, the B250 xt + also has that feature.

Yes. I was originally looking on Amazon at them then I realized I could order it from Walmart. The 250xt+ is like 76 bucks at Walmart. Plus I use a site called Ebates and that will get me a extra 2% cash back. Was looking at the 350 also.
Staples has voyager legend on sale for 79 bucks right now, I use this one, and I got a charging case for it that will recharge it 3 times. It is super good call quality even in extremely loud environments like construction sites.

Steve, have you seen the Motorola s11. Great for music when I'm loading or trouncing around on weekends. It can also take calls in a pinch, but has no noise filtration at all on the mics.
Forgive my ignorance because i'm a newbie but what do you need a headset for? Is it connected to your phone for calls?
