DMV:

Department of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Motor Vehicles

I look at it this way, you studied the required info as per your school, you'll do fine. I studied my state cdl manual and took some online practice tests and only missed one question on all the exams, a question not even covered in the manual (as told to me by the DMV). The high road program is an excellent study tool bit not the only way to study and learn.

  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Yeah, my CDL school gave me a thumb drive with multiple choice practice questions that are the same as the ones that I'll encounter at DMV in VA for the permit test. So far I'm studying general knowledge, combination vehicles, and air brakes. For VA that's all I need for the permit. We start pretrip lessons this Saturday.

Glad you did well! Good luck with the next steps of your training!

Congratulations, RV.

How did you do? Do you remember your percentages? What were some of the questions on the test? Were the questions similar to the ones you answered through the High Road Program.

Details! We need details now, please? Pretty please?
