You can always try the Trucking Companies That Hire Drivers With Felonies page.

The major factor, is how old the felony is, more so than the type of felony. Although, some will automatically disqualify you. Personally, I have 4 felonies, all over 10, years old, 1 is 25 years old. The point to remember, is that the past is the past, and as long as you are continuing to try and better yourself, you will be ok. It may take a while to get into the industry, but never give up.

Stay safe

Well you didn't say what kind of record it is so not much info for us to help you on tbh.

it could be a felony, civil... traffic, moving or non moving... or it could even be this kind of record: 457bd5e34474a71e7bf5d011d1f28ddc9f3e4df9

haha at that last one... point being, we need a little more info before anyone can really be of any help. we need or want all the juicy details but things like what kind of record, how old it is... that kind of stuff, the same things an employer needs to know.

4 felonies wow that's not something I'd freely tell people. Then again I wouldn't have a felony ever. Cue the...everyone makes mistakes line.

In another thread, I even mention them by name. I have no problems admitting my past, because that is exactly what it is, my past. Has ti hampered some of my opportunities? yes. But the way I see it, if a person, or business doesn't see fit to hire, work with, or for me, because of that, it is their loss, and a better opportunity will come because of it. And trust me, they have! EVERYONE in my kitchen, when I had my restaurant, was an ex felon, (even the gals), and the State of Michigan even gave me kickbacks because of it.

Never be ashamed of your past, because those experiences, and how you learned from each one, are what made you who you are today.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

I'm not ashamed of my past at all. One felony I might be able to look past when hiring and the keyword is might but 2,3 and 4 no way. Most of society doesn't have a criminal history so why would I even think to hire a felon? But this industry seems to attract felons it by what I've been reading.

"You" was a catchall, not intended for just you, but every "you" who may read it.

oh, and nowadays, 2 of my felonies are now classified as misdemeanors had i committed them today. 1 of them is easily looked past, as many recruiters have already told me, and the last one, was the 25 year old one. I got caught delivering unauthorized messages to local mailboxes on the side of the road. 5 days after I turned 18, DOH!!!
