I have been asked for pay stubs, bills, etc. Don't recall ever being asked for my W2.
I would guess it is part of your background check. To prove where you live.
By the way, most don't accept PO boxes for an address. They want some kind of physical address.

Yeah, that kind of stuff is common in trucking. They're always trying to make sure they know as much as they can about you and that you're not hiding anything or lying.
I have been asked for the my W-2s several times just to verify employment. They usually only ask if your company has moved, changed phone numbers, or went out of business. Like a few that I worked for has.

I've applied to a company that only hires drivers within a 100 sq mile radius of their HQ. They've asked me to provide copies of my W-2's during the screening process. Is this normal?
