Gahhhhh, I hit submit by mistake. Stupid fingers. They also offer some of the best home time solutions out there.
BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:
It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.

From what I've read, they are! That's why I applied on their website. A lady replied asking to call her (which I'm sure is just a generic email sent to all pre hires). They are the only company I applied for, so far, mainly because of their home time+, which seems to fit my need to go home more often, to be present for my teenage daughter. Any other company in the northeast with such home time options, please share! :)
Pre-hire letters are acceptance letters from trucking companies to students, or even potential students, to verify placement. The trucking companies are saying in writing that the student, or potential student, appears to meet the company's minimum hiring requirements and is welcome to attend their orientation at the company’s expense once he or she graduates from truck driving school and has their CDL in hand.
We have an excellent article that will help you Understand The Pre-Hire Process.
The people that receive a pre-hire letter are people who meet the company's minimum hiring requirements, but it is not an employment contract. It is an invitation to orientation, and the orientation itself is a prerequisite to employment.
During the orientation you will get a physical, drug screen, and background check done. These and other qualifications must be met before someone in orientation is officially hired.

Not only is their home time good, their training is very good and the whole company from top to bottom is on the same page. They will respect you.

That's great! At CDL school we had a Werner representative come to see us. He talked about when a new hire calls, the recruiter can check to see which routes are available for your zip code, and will tell you how often you'll be home and what the route pays. I also understand them to be a good company as well. Maybe give them a call to see if they have a workable schedule. Good luck!

I think I just got an email with a pre hire letter from Roehl? lol
Congratulations, RV. As others have note, Roehl (pronounced "Rail") is a good company with plenty of hometime options. In addition to considering Roehl, have you considered Averitt? Schneider Regional? Swift's Northeast routes? You've got plenty of options and, with your attitude, any company would benefit from hiring you.
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.

If the email was from Kim Calhoun, she is the main recruiter in charge of handling those coming into the company without a CDL. If you already have a CDL you will talk to a dude, I think his name was Dylan (not sure). Kim is very punctual and friendly, so if you decide to get in contact with her, she will be in touch with you right away.
