Thanks everyone for your input and comments. I didn't think it was to old but I had to ask others because I have a crazy brother who said I was to old for OTR. He does local runs and did dedicated for a while but he is one of those guys who thinks the government is out to get is all. So again thank you all.

Frank, I haven't had the chance to jump in here, but I wanted you to know that on the day I got hired for my first trucking job at the age of fifty three, they also hired a gentleman who was 73! You are way younger than many of the guys out here.

You never know until you try it not your age . It Will be what you think of the life of a trucker ie the long time away from your famley etc . If that not a problem then go for it . (I am 55 an drive All over Europe /scandinavi so to old !! No Way) wish i could be out there With you Good Luck an hope you Tel All how it go
